As of May 30 2018 Federal Statute…..Purchases of any fishing/trout/hunting permits will require buyer to provide Social Security Number.
This is for all ages.
Trout Stamp Child: $5.00 (Under age 16)
Trout Stamp Adult: $10.00 Expires the last day of February
- Permit is required for all ages, year ’round upstream from U.S. Hwy 65 Bridge
Yearly Resident Fishing Permit: $12.00 Expires the last day of February
- Permit is required for MO residents ages 16 to 65 unless you prefer to purchase a daily permit.
- If a MO resident age 65 and older, must have ID with proof of residence and date of birth.
Lifetime Resident fishing license are available At age 60 you can purchase a lifetime for $35.00 which includes all fishing and trout permit in MO.

Daily Fishing Permit: $8.00 per day Expires each evening at midnight
- Permit can be purchased by MO resident ages 16 to 65, or Nonresident age 16 and older.
- If a MO resident age 65 and older, must have ID with proof of residence and date of birth.
Yearly Nonresident Fishing Permit: $49.00 Expires the last day of February
- Permit is required for Nonresidents ages 16 and older unless you prefer a daily permit.
Daily Limits
- Total of 4 trout per day:
- 1 Brown Trout and 3 Rainbow Trout or 4 Rainbow Trout
Possession Limit
- Total of 8 trout
Keepers
- Brown Trout must be 20” caught anywhere on Lake
- Rainbow Trout caught above Fall Creek to Table Rock Dam must be 20” or less than 12”
- Rainbow Trout caught from Fall Creek to Power Site Dam can be any length
Bait
- Fall Creek to Table Rock Dam: Flies and artificial lures may be used. Soft plastic baits, and natural and scented baits are prohibited in this area. Pole and Line fishing only.
